"All you need is the plan, the road map, and the courage to press on to your destination." ~ Earl Nightingale
For many, the arrival of summer means vacation time. I love summer. I love vacations. I have been spending the last couple of months planning our own summer vacation and I'm excited that we are getting closer to our trip.
One of our upcoming stops is to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. We are excited because neither my husband or I have been there before, but we have heard lots of great things about the area.
I found a VRBO for us to rent and have made a list of different activities, restaurants and places to check out. On the to-do list is beer tasting, wine tasting, checking out the local sights and activities, and trying out a couple local restaurants and coffee shops.
I am looking forward to posting all about our travels. It will be an epic road trip! Stay tuned!!
My birthday month planning is underway!
I've been tossing around various ideas for my birthday celebrations such as, picnic, melodrama, miniature golf, dinner, happy hour, brunch...lots of different ideas, but one plan has officially fallen in place ~

One of my goals, along with this travel blog, is to start a travel planning business. I haven't posted any details on it yet because I'm still working out the specifics and logistics. Behind the scenes, though, I am working with my first client. It's been fun helping them plan a 10 year anniversary weekend getaway. We've been looking into places, such as Bodega Bay, Seattle, Maui, and Riviera Maya. I am excited to see where they end up!
All of this planning on their behalf has made me even more excited for my husband's return from deployment so we can start blogging our own adventures. We already have some destinations in mind for the rest of the year: Las Vegas, Big Bear, and Coeur d'Alene. It will be fun!
In the mean time, I will be finalizing the travel and vacation planning endeavor and then will post my information and pricing. I'll also continue to do my local SLO Things. You can look forward to some more wine tasting and restaurant reviews, plus I'll be planning my birthday month (June) festivities too!
I look forward to sharing all of this with you all. Stay tuned!!!
